NEET UG Counselling
After the NEET UG 2026 result, eligible candidates participate in counselling for medical and dental admissions.
NEET counselling is not handled through a single counselling process for every seat in India. Different authorities conduct counselling for different categories of seats.
MCC Counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for applicable All India Quota and other specified categories of UG medical/dental seats, according to the counselling scheme and applicable rules.
MCC's 2026 UG counselling portal is currently publishing the schedules, seat matrices, allotment results and candidate instructions for the 2026–27 session.
State Counselling
State and Union Territory counselling authorities conduct counselling for seats under their respective state/UT admission frameworks.
The counselling process may cover:
State quota MBBS seats
State quota BDS seats
Private medical colleges
Private dental colleges
Applicable minority/institutional seats
Other seats according to the state's rules
