XAT 2026 was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The question paper contained 95 questions and was divided into two time-bound parts.

Correct answer: +1 mark

Incorrect answer: -0.25 mark

More than 8 unattempted questions: -0.10 mark for each additional unattempted question

No negative marking for incorrect General Knowledge questions

Part 1 duration: 170 minutes

Part 2 duration: 10 minutes

Examination language: English
