JEE Main 2026 – Joint Entrance Examination (Main)

JEE Main 2026, or Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026, is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering, architecture and planning programmes.

JEE Main is conducted for admission to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning programmes in NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions and participating institutes. It is also the qualifying examination for candidates seeking to appear in JEE Advanced.

For 2026, JEE Main was conducted in two sessions – January and April. For candidates appearing in both sessions, the better NTA Score was considered for the final result of Paper 1.
