Both can be good options for an MBA, but the better choice depends on what you are looking for.

Doon Business School may suit students who prefer a more focused business-school environment and a relatively smaller campus setting.

LPU can be worth considering if you want a larger university environment, a wider range of specialisations, campus activities and opportunities to interact with students from different fields.

For MBA, I would not decide only on the basis of the college name. Compare the specialisation, faculty, internships, placement record, industry exposure, fees and the kind of career you want after graduation.

To be honest, as a student of DBS Global University , BSc Agriculture is great because it is not just theory-based and boring; there is more practical experience in terms of studies. The university gives great importance to the practical experience of the students, and the best thing is that we get four practical internships during the course. These include a forest attendant attachment in first year, organizational internship in second year, social economy internship in third year, and the final year social project. There are many industrial visits, case studies, guest lectures from industry experts, and also international tie-ups. As there is so much practical exposure in our curriculum, many big industries such as Patanjali, Patanjali Ayurved, Sresta Natural, APIS India, and SIDS Farm come to the college to recruit us.

I think both of them else good, but I think, in my opinion, LPU has upper hand in the placement terms, mainly because of the larger recruitment network and the stronger industrial connections. Every year, many national and multinational companies visit LPU campus for placement across different, different domains like engineering, management, and other programs. And university has a focus on internship, then live projects, mock interviews, and soft skills. So they want their students to get the placement directly. And there is some like another network that is called alumni network. The students which are pass out from LPU, they are in different companies, and they have also connected to LPU. So there is also scope for student to grasp the opportunity from there. In the end, I would say that students have to have good skills and communication skills and academic performance should be there to clear out the placement and get the good opportunity provided by the university.

If I were to be completely candid about the matter, one of the main reasons for opting for B.Com at DBS Global University would not be its rankings but rather the ease with which it makes passing tough accounting examinations a breeze. The balance between college and CA or ACCA would be extremely difficult anywhere else, whereas, in this college, the BCom curriculum takes care of it all so that you don't have to opt for additional coaching post college hours. Considering the fact that our college has a partnership agreement with ACCA (UK), we are granted waivers of 9 out of 13 papers, which means that we only have to pass 4 papers to complete the ACCA program. Similarly, for US-CPA, we only have to write 4 core papers along with our degree.
