BFIT Dehradun was established in 2005 in the state of Uttarakhand. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). BFIT is affiliated to the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Pauri Garhwal.
